Muxue Technology (“we”, “us”, “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the App Lock app (“the App”) handles your information. Please read it carefully before using the App.

1. Information We Collect

The App itself does not directly collect any personal information from you. However, the App integrates a third-party analytics SDK (Umeng Analytics, see Section 3) that automatically collects the following technical information for analytics and crash-diagnostics purposes:

• Device information (model, iOS version, device language, screen resolution)
• App usage information (session duration, feature usage counts, screen views)
• Crash logs and performance metrics
• Network type (Wi-Fi / cellular) and approximate location derived from IP address
• Anonymous device identifier (IDFV) for distinguishing unique installs

This data is used solely to improve the App and diagnose problems. We do not collect your name, email, phone number, contacts, photos, or precise location.

2. How the App Handles Data on Your Device

2.1 Family Controls Authorization

The App uses Apple’s Family Controls framework to lock other applications. When you first use the App, iOS will ask for your authorization to use Screen Time.

• We only obtain Application Tokens through Apple’s official API.
• These tokens are generated by Apple and are opaque: we cannot determine which specific app they represent.
• Tokens are stored only on your device and are never uploaded to us or any third party.

2.2 Local Storage

The App uses the iOS-provided App Group UserDefaults to share small pieces of configuration data between the main app and app extensions (e.g., locked app list, language preference, unlock requests). This data is stored entirely within your iPhone’s sandbox, is never uploaded to any server, and is deleted when you uninstall the App.
